Established in 2017, Cocoon Paediatrics is a small paediatric allied health clinic. We provide quality and targeted Occupational Therapy services to children and their families across the beautiful North West Coast of Tasmania.
We provide services for children aged 0 - 16 years.  Programs and interventions may be delivered by our therapists or by our team of Allied Health Assistants, under the direction of our therapists. Appointments may be based at our clinic, or we are able to travel within the community, school, and home environments as required. We provide formal and informal assessments, goal directed therapy sessions, both individual and group based short-term interventions, parent and educator training, and home programs and written reports. Referrals are accepted directly from families, Paediatricians, GPs, schools, and other service providers.

Our Team consists of a group of dedicated and experienced clinicians and allied health assistants. Born and bred in North West Tasmania, our therapists are thoroughly entrenched within our local communities and networks, and are understanding of the needs within our local region for children and their families. Our senior clinicians each have over a decade of extensive experience working with children and families on the North West Coast in the public health, private, and educational sectors. We are highly skilled in varied evidence-based therapeutic approaches and are committed to providing targeted and client-centered supports. We work directly with families, children, and support networks to establish meaningful goals and intervention pathways.
When not at work, our team enjoys time with our families, friends and animals, sharing experiences cooking, camping and adventuring, and being immersed in our beautiful natural world.
